Annual Meeting Crowd

Annual Town Meeting Set for Wednesday, June 20

Join your neighbors for an informative evening at Saint Joseph Academy, 3470 Rocky River Drive, for our 41st Annual Town Meeting. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the progrm starts at 7 p.m. Sign up for the ever popular "sponstaneous raffle," with gifts being offered from local merchants and organizations. The evening's agenda includes updates on neighborhood initiatives and news about city-related issues. Refreshments will be served. The event is free to attend. Read more here.

Family on Blanket

Asphalt Cinema Returns June 15

Bring lawn chairs and blankets to reserve your spot on the lawn in front of a giant screen for a free family-friendly movie under the stars on third Friday of June, July, and August. The fun begins at 6:30 p.m. while dusk falls over Impett Park, 3180 West 153rd Street. Local merchants and organizations offer games of skill and chance for the kids. In addition, there will be art activities, and everyone will be invited to dance and compete in games with the help of DJ Kenny G, starting at 7:30 p.m. See details here.

Hooley Thanks

The Hooley on Kamm's Corners™ Returned on Saturday, May 12

West Park’s annual day-long block party happened Saturday, May 12, from 12 to 8 p.m. The Hooley on Kamm’s Corners™ took place along Lorain Avenue from West 165th Street to Rocky River Drive, kicking off Cleveland’s robust community festival season with live music, festival food, Irish dancing, pipes and drums, and plenty of family fun.

West Park Walk on Wednesdays (WOW)

Local businesses are offering a new program for the summer called “West Park Walk on Wednesdays” (West Park WOW). It kicks off the evening of May 23 at 6:30 p.m. in front of Kamm's Corners Ice Cream Company, 3764 Rocky River Drive, in Kamms Plaza. This first walk will be led by Ralph Pfingsten of the West Park Historical Society. Destinations include the society's headquarters, 17401 Lorain Avenue, and 5 Points Coffee and Tea, 3600 West Park Road. Round trip, the walk is about 1.7 miles. A new walk will take place on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month throughout the summer. See details, here.

Independence Day Parade

Join the Independence Day Parade Produced by the Kiwanis Club of West Park

Planning is underway for the West Park Kiwanis Club's annual Kamm’s Corners Independence Day Parade. Join the fun on Wednesday, July 4, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Organizations, clubs, community groups, local celebrities, and area merchants are all welcome! Download an application here or call Herb Hampson, 216-287-3871, to have one mailed to you. Before June 25, the registration fee is $70, except local non-profit organizations pay $35. After June 25, the registration fee is $100 for all. Act fast!

Available For Lease: 17019-25 Lorain Avenue

Kamm's Corners Development Corporation (KCDC) acquired and renovated the pictured commercial building on Lorain Avenue. In keeping with many of the buiding upgrades in the neighborhood, KCDC worked with the City of Cleveland's Storefront Renovation Program staff to put together a significant exterior renovation package and is marketing the building to second floor retail, service, and office tenants.
