The Hooley on Kamm's Corners™ Returns on Saturday, May 12

West Park’s annual day-long block party is set for Saturday, May 12 from 12 to 8 p.m. The Hooley on Kamm’s Corners™ takes place along Lorain Avenue from West 165th Street to Rocky River Drive, kicking off Cleveland’s robust community festival season with crafts, live music, dancing, pipes and drums, and plenty of family fun. Applications are now available to showcase your business or non-profit organization to 30,000 people from West Park and surrounding communities. Click here for details.

Join A Workshop on Health, Community, and Climate Action in Kamm's Corners

Join your fellow Clevelanders for one of a series of 10 neighborhood workshops that connect health, community and quality of life to climate action. The free workshops will take place at various locations through April 2018 and give attendees the opportunity to develop ideas and connect them with resources for action. Citizen Police Academy Class of 2015

Apply for the Next Citizen Police Academy

A Citizen Police Academy starts on Wednesday, April 4, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the KCDC Conference Room, 17407 Lorain Avenue, Suite 200. Officer Tim Riley of the Cleveland Division of Police will conduct the classes on five consecutive Wednesdays in the conference room followed by two off site. Those successfully completing the course are eligible for a ride-along to witness police work in action. Apply by calling Officer Riley at 216-623-3335 or emailing triley@city.cleveland.oh.us. KCDC is proud to be a community partner of the 2018 season of the Cleveland Internation Film Festival. EMBRACE CURIOSITY, speaks toward the inquisitive nature of the festival, its artists, and its more than 100,000 attendees. Look for approximately 200 feature films and 200 short subject films, representing close to 70 countries. Details will be released soon! In the meantime, visit the festival's website here.

Kamm's Corners Development Corporation (KCDC) acquired and renovated the pictured commercial building on Lorain Avenue. In keeping with many of the buiding upgrades in the neighborhood, KCDC worked with the City of Cleveland's Storefront Renovation Program staff to put together a significant exterior renovation package and is marketing the building to second floor retail, service, and office tenants.
