The Hooley on Kamm's Corners™ Returns on Saturday, May 12

West Park’s annual day-long block party is set for Saturday, May 12, from 12 to 8 p.m. The Hooley on Kamm’s Corners™ takes place along Lorain Avenue from West 165th Street to Rocky River Drive, kicking off Cleveland’s robust community festival season with crafts, live music, dancing, pipes and drums, and plenty of family fun. Spring Safety Meeting Set for March 21

Join First District Commander Daniel Fay, Officer Tim Riley, Councilman Marty Keane, and representatives of Kamm's Corners Development at a Spring Safety Meeting to be held at the West Park Historical Society hall at 17401 Lorain Avenue (the KCDC Building). The meeting will take place Wednesday, March 21, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Join your neighbors to meet our friends in blue, hear important safety information, and have your concerns addressed.

Citizen Police Academy Class of 2015

Apply for the Next Citizen Police Academy

A Citizen Police Academy starts on Wednesday, April 4, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the KCDC Conference Room, 17407 Lorain Avenue, Suite 200. Officer Tim Riley of the Cleveland Division of Police will conduct the classes on five consecutive Wednesdays in the conference room followed by two off site. Those successfully completing the course are eligible for a ride-along to witness police work in action. Apply by calling Officer Riley at 216-623-3335 or emailing triley@city.cleveland.oh.us. Independence Day Parade

Join the Independence Day Parade Produced by the Kiwanis Club of West Park

Planning is underway for the West Park Kiwanis Club's annual Kamm’s Corners Independence Day Parade. Join the fun on Wednesday, July 4, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Organizations, clubs, community groups, local celebrities, and area merchants are all welcome! Download an application here or call Cliff LaRocque at 216-252-1364 to have one mailed to you. Before June 25, the registration fee is $70, except local non-profit organizations pay $35. After June 25, the registration fee is $100 for all. Act fast!

Kamm's Corners Development Corporation (KCDC) acquired and renovated the pictured commercial building on Lorain Avenue. In keeping with many of the buiding upgrades in the neighborhood, KCDC worked with the City of Cleveland's Storefront Renovation Program staff to put together a significant exterior renovation package and is marketing the building to second floor retail, service, and office tenants.
